APRIL SHOWERS, MAY FLOWERS
I can't believe we are already half way through May!
I learned some valuable lessons in April. One being that you should never assume that you have the job. Whether it be a new job altogether, a promotion or just some added responsibility - you should always approach each task with excellence and enthusiasm. I got busy and ran out of time to make my interview presentation great; I thought the job was mine so I let a few details fall through the cracks. And guess what, I didn't get it! There could be a host of reasons why I didn't get this job; whatever the case, I have learned to always give 110% in the future no matter what is going on in the moment and in your personal life.
When I look back on my life, things always make sense though I didn't know the reason at the time. There is likely a job out there that is a "better fit" for me in some way or other.
Often an obstacle or set back is a blessing in disguise that is opening you up for something even better.
