LET'S GO TO THE SYMPHONY
I went to the symphony recently and was reminded of the beautiful things that happen when we work together as a team.
I love music. I grew up in a musical family and had the opportunity to play several instruments. Music moves me in many ways. As I have grown older, though, I haven't made the conscious listening and enjoyment of music a priority. Most of my listening experience now is in the car or at the gym....so this was a treat.
As I watched the musicians play, I couldn't help but think of an analogy to life. To make this beautiful symphony, all of the instruments had to work together. One section couldn't drown out the other or interrupt and play before their time. Everyone had their place and the result was beautiful.
